Serving Durbanites a mouthful, SUNCOAST’S Café Vigour has added more exciting, scrumptious meals to their already jam-packed menu.
A creatively decorated coffee shop inspired by a fusion of South African and the latest international trends in décor, Café Vigour was established in 2013 by Tsogo Sun as part of the Vigour & Verve brand. Since its opening Café Vigour has been a roaring success at SUNCOAST thanks to their simple, wholesome menu of delicious food options that incorporate breakfast and dessert harvest tables, popular signature dishes, local favourites, fresh and lovely salads, sandwiches with intriguing and delectable fillings, burgers and pizzas with a difference, and more.
“We have added meals that speak to Durbanites and also satisfy their hunger to try new dishes. One of the new exciting items that we have added to the menu is the Thai Beef Salad, which incorporates Thai ingredients such as ginger, honey, soya and sesame seeds. Durban is a culinary melting pot of different dishes and flavours from around the world and more and more people are looking to enjoy new and exciting dishes,” says Justin Oliver, Executive Chef at Café Vigour.
Café Vigour has also added a Durban-style mutton curry pizza, a roasted pepper and mushroom vegetarian pizza, grilled bacon and mushroom pizza, rib, wings & steak combos along with a variant of sauces. For breakfast lovers, the bistro styled coffee shop has also added a long awaited favourite – the Eggs Benedict – which is available from 08:00am to 11:00am.
“We aim to WOW our diners with nothing but the best food flavours that not only follow international trends but also speak to our uniquely Durban taste. This is why we have also added familiar dishes to the menu,” says SUNCOAST Food & Beverages Manager, Puroshini Naidoo.
