October is Cancer awerenes month and the Team at Oceanworx is going PINK!!
The idea is to Dive/Snorkle/Boat Ride for CANCER!!!
This is how it worx 🙂
For every dive in October Oceanworx will sponsor R10 of the Dive Price
SCUBAPRO lucky draw R20 entry (every week for 4 weeks Oceanworx will have a Lucky draw where you stand a chance to win a PINK Scubapro Scout Mask)
Then the Grand Prize – PINK Seawing NOVA soft gear set.
once a week Oceanworx will sponsor a DSD to a person with Cancer.
2 November 2013 we have our final party where we have more competitions and events to raise more cash for the charity. We are cooking a lamb and there will be fires lit for anyone not wanting to buy a ticket for catering. We will have a beer tent and DJ playing music for the day. It will be an open day and we will be doing discover scuba for anyone wanting to try out. We will also be giving away some courses as prizes and DSD’s in draws to try and raise more cash on the last day.
We are looking to have a great fun month and the nice thing is you don’t have to be a diver to show your support. We are open for anyone to just have a boat experience to the Aliwal Shoal or try get them to snorkel to see some fantastic marine life.
Oceanworx have made pink head scaps for our divers to buy @ R50 (All proceeds to the charity)
Oceanworx have small pink cancer ribbons @ R5 (All proceeds to charity)
For every diver, snorkeler & fun boat rider Oceanworx donate R10 per person on the boat to Charity
Oceanworx have Lucky draws for masks each week @ R20 per ticket (All Proceeds to charity)
Oceanworx have two sets of fins and a mask as a final lucky draw on the prize giving day (2 November)
