The Mercury Wine Week is KZN’s largest and longest standing wine show. In its 36^th year, this sumptuous event has wine lovers from across the province thirsty for the illustrious array of Cape grapes. Hundreds of wines from the vineyards of the West will be exhibited under one roof and tasted by East Coast wine lovers and learners. Durbanite has 2 x double tickets to giveaway. Unlimited wine tasting each evening is coupled with a brand new feature, the Grindrod Bank Wine Theatre. This theatre will host three dedicated tastings each night, hosted by individual wine estates. Visitors are invited to pause for 20 minutes to learn about the estate and tantalise their taste buds with their unique aromas and flavours.

Finger foods and cheeses by Fairview and Checkers provide the perfect nibbles to accompany the fine wine. For those who consider ‘wine o’clock’ a sacred affair, a special R160 ticket will offer a satisfying two-night pass, valid for Wednesday and Thursday nights only. For wine clubs or groups of 10 people or more, a 20% discount applies.

1. Comment below to stand a chance of winning 1 of 2 double tickets to the 2014 Mercury Wine Week, hosted at Suncoast in Durban.
2. Ticket covers entry to event only for you and partner, for one night only (date to be confirmed).
3. Competition opens on 22 July 2014 and closes at midday on 19 August 2014, South African Standard Time.
4. Winner/s will be randomly drawn on 19 August 2014. Durbanite reserves the right to change the draw date.
5. Winner/s will be notified via email and are required to confirm receipt within 24 hour of notification or redraw will take place.
6. Winner/s tickets will need to be collected from Durbanite representative.
7. Subject to these competition rules, Durbanite’s determination of the winners is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
8. The prizes are non-transferable for cash. If you are the winner, a copy of your South African identity document or passport may be required as proof that you are in fact the winner whose name was drawn.
