Nu Metro Cinemas hosts Girls’ Night Out at all their cinemas nationwide once a month, including Nu Metro Pavilion in Durban. The first “ladies only” screening for 2016 is laugh out loud-comedy DIRTY GRANDPA, and will take place on Thursday, 28 January at 20:00. It features Hollywood legend Robert Niro and a shirtless Zak Efron. Yes, Nu Metro Cinemas thought it best to treat all their loyal female customers to some comedy and much-needed eye candy to kick off the new year!
Jason Kelly (Zak Efron) is one week away from marrying his boss’s über-controlling daughter, putting him on the fast track toward a partnership at the law firm. However, when the straight-laced Jason is tricked into driving his foul-mouthed grandfather, Dick (Robert Deniro), to Daytona, Florida, for spring break, his pending nuptials are suddenly in jeopardy.
Between riotous frat parties, bar fights, and an epic night of karaoke, Dick is on a quest to live his life to the fullest and bring Jason along for the ride. Ultimately, on the wildest journey of their lives, “dirty” Grandpa and his uptight grandson discover they can learn from one another and form the bond they never had.
