When I first walked into Bamboo Sushi Lounge back in 2009, I immediately knew that it would be the latest hype for Durbanites. Fast forward to 2016, and I’m sitting a road up from where they used to be, with many changes that have taken place during the course of 7 years – but good ones, of course!
One of Bamboo’s new addition is the 3 course buffet, where customers can now select a starter before tucking into the buffet and end off with a delicious desert.
Durbanite recently met up with Marcel Kwaan from Activate who gave us the opportunity to come in and experience the 3 course buffet for ourselves. Sushi-lovers are always in for a treat at Bamboo Sushi Lounge – With such exceptional service and spoilt for choice, it’s no wonder you just keep going back for more!
I’ve always heard about the popular Green Tea ice-cream, and finally had the chance to try it out – and boy, was it incredible! Durbanites will be happy to know that this is available as part of the 3 course buffet.
For only R185 for all-you-can-eat sushi, it’s a bargain considering the wide variety of sushi you can choose from.
So, starve up and then come hit the Bamboo Buffet!
If a buffet is not your style, Bamboo also offer an A La Carte menu which not only includes a wide variety of sushi but great combos and numerous Japanese dishes. Or, if you’re in a rush, takeaways are also most welcome.
