It’s almost the end of Movember. Across the globe, Mo Bros and Mo Sistas are supporting men’s health awareness by growing moustaches or by getting involved in MOve challenges to get active.
Local Mo Sista, Heather Clark (Port Shepstone), a multiple Masters World Champion surfer hosted a Movember MOve morning recently, encouraging her students’ dads to get active, by learning how to surf. Clark’s father Dave also joined in and hit the surf after a break of a few years.

Both Heather’s parents were affected by cancer, so Movember is very personal for her. Clark encouraged women to play a role in the health of their male loved ones. “Give them support and positivity and encourage the checkups and never lose faith. To men I say keep smiling; a positive attitude has more power than any illness.”
