Through research of the latest technology and international loyalty programmes, Gateway launched “Gateway VIP” in 2011 – offering customers a shopping experience tailored to their needs and interests and rewarding them for their loyalty and feedback.  Gateway VIP was the first loyalty programme of its kind, and won recognition through the International Council of Shopping Centres awards programme.

Being an innovator in the mall industry, and following the success of the loyalty programme, Gateway has upgraded the system, offering customers an even more personalized experience – Gateway VIP has gone MOBILE!

Gateway shoppers can now join the free loyalty programme by simply downloading the Gateway VIP Mobile App from their App Store.   The App allows customers to browse all VIP offers available to members, enter competitions, play games, earn points and more.

Existing members of the programme are able to upgrade their account to the new system at the VIP loyalty kiosks located near the info desk.

VIP Members are also now able to earn points from the App, when they log in to Gateway’s free Wi-Fi, which is available to Gateway shoppers throughout the mall for 30 minutes or 50MB.

And if the amazing benefits and discounts available to loyalty members wasn’t enough, Gateway is giving away a brand new Citroen C4 Cactus valued at over R 250,000 to Gateway VIP Members who sign up or burn 1,000 points from 10 April – 31 May 2015.
